Podcast Interview: Beyond Clean

Snapshot of the The Science & Ethics of Robotic Automation | Workers or Widgets? episode (link here)

It has been exciting to learn about the sterile processing community as we continue our customer discovery phase. Through our discovery, we found the Beyond Clean Podcast (YouTube series and LinkedIn page). The founders, Hank Balch and Justin Poulin, leverage their extensive Sterile Processing industry knowledge and experience to create and provide educational and research content to push the industry forward. From the podcast’s LinkedIn profile: “The target audience [are]: frontline medical device reprocessors, department leaders, operating room professionals, infection preventionists, and the vendor partners who support them”.

Hank and Justin provided invaluable insights that helped us better understand the problems in the Sterile Processing industry. Our conversations led us to conclude that there is an immediate and necessary opportunity for technology to address existing problems and facilitate better tools so that sterile processing technicians can better serve patients. RIF Robotics is very well positioned for doing so.

In January 2022, we were invited to be interviewed on an episode of the podcast as part of Beyond Clean’s 2022 global Sterile Processing Robotics & Automation symposium. Kevin and I discussed the future of robotics and automation in sterile processing. You can watch the full interview on the The Science & Ethics of Robotic Automation | Workers or Widgets? episode here.

State-of-the-art robotics, machine vision, and automation solutions continue to advance a wide variety of industries. It is no secret that the time to apply these technological advances to the Sterile Processing industry is now; and RIF Robotics is here to do just that!
